I thought that both of those led heads only pulled 6 volts? That was what I was told by some one that had a connection with K lites.

You can't compair the two ontill you plug one of the two heads in to your light the led just burn whiter and brighter than a regular light so and yes my g2 head is brigther than my 5100 head so i would guess that it woud be the same for your light if you would like you may call me pm me for number

I had the 28 volt Prolite in which I dearly loved and cherished. Due to a kennel fire I lost everything I owned. I thank Mr. George Wood with supplying me a light until I get my insurance payoff. He did a K-light with the G2 Advantage Head. The light is white not like my Prolite and real bright. I am also going to invest in a Bright Eyes White lighting as well with the 28 volt light for my son and nephew. I do like the G2 though for sure.

The Valley Creek I have seen several times side by side the G2. it is very comparable, not quit as bright but the valley creek is a little lighter. You would be happy with Valley Creeks light as well.

LED

White Lightning vs G2

I have a Bright Eyes White Lightning on a 28v battery
Hunting buddy has G2 on 21v battery

We agree mine is a little brighter on the higher setting.
When we switched heads, I did'nt see much difference.
He thinks the G2 was a little brighter when on the 28v.
When I used 5100 head on 28v, the White Lightning & the G2
on 21v were brighter, & the white light overpowered the 28v bulb.
Both G2 & Bright Eyes have a good tight spot, but it not a pin-point type spot in some led lights I have seen.
I am referring to the led pointer type lights, mostly used in law enforcement, etc.
These 2 heads have smaller, tighter spot than other hunting lights. The Bright Eyes has enough light outside the spot for walking.

There is very little difference in brightness, but the Bright Eyes
is a machined aluminum head & great controls.
This is why I chose the Bright Eyes.

David

i got my 21v pro-lite with the g2 led. its bright thats for sure! brighter than my 28v coonbuster. my only complaint is it doesn't spot tight enuff for me. jmo. it has a "good" spot but does throw off more flood than i would like.

david, does the white lightening have a tighter spot?

Wow, just goes to show we all see things differently. Got my G2 yesterday and used it last night. My only complaint is that the spot is so tight it may be a detriment this summer when I normally use a wide flood at low beam to light up the eyes. Mine has a very tight spot, tighter than any bulb I have had.

Some earlier led's I've seen gave the impression of being brighter than others because the spot was tighter but to me they looked about the same for brighness. A matter of which you prefer. I've got a Predator and a 21v Bandit with a Pro head (rectanle) . Predator is great to wear and convienent and both lights wide open seem nearly the same brightness to me but the Pro head throws more light (flood) where the Predator's tighter spot sometimes looks brighter. I don't trip over as much with flood type when walking.

Jim,

Ya get all the toys! I am jealous.lol All my toys are getting old, and I got a boy looking at Colleges in a year.

I hunted last night with a 4200 K-light and my other light that has the first 3 positions on the switch broke.

I think my wife needs a second job.

Got my lightning today. It is really bright in the bath room with the light out. LOL
I put it on a regular oil field hard hat. I like them better and they don't give me a head ache as fast. It is a heavy head and the 21 volt batterie and control is heavier than my 28 volt nite lite was. I think I am going to love it other than that.
The bright, the burn time, how the light is broke up in differant settings with a dimmer switch i think the good will out way the bad by far............
