I have 4 coon dogs and one Rottie. When all my old dogs die out I plan on never having over 2 hounds at a time here. Guess that is why I am rebuilding my kennel with 6 runs huh?? LOL!!!!!!!

Ridiculous that some areas limit the number of dogs you can own,that sounds pretty much like the way the wind is blowin with todays politicians. Sticking their noses into the American publics business where it dont belong! On the other hand, it would save me a boat load of cash on dog food, I'm feeding 8 Plotts,1 running Walker, and 2 loveable mutts of Heinz 57 variety.

I have 7 at my house. 3 Grand Nites (one is not mine, just living out her days here), 1 Nite ch., the #2 current reproducing redbone female, and 2 pups (8months and 15 months). One pup is heading north next month for about 6 months or so and then we'll see if she has the goods. I'll focus on the 15 month old until fall and see how she continues to develop to see if she'll earn her place.

I would love to only have 3, but I get to attached to my older dogs, that is why it will take a special pup to be able to stay here.

I have 3 I hunt.. A 7yr old, 4 yr old and 1 yr old.. I have a 4th but he has congestive heart failure (due to a fungus he picked up while hunting in Utah) so he just hangs out right now.. He actually is really good with pups and I have kenneled pups with him.. If I found him a great pet home he would go there.. He has to much life in him to just put him down.. So he will stick around here until something better for him comes along..

That being said, I have 1 more pup on the way right now, going to have a litter of pups this spring, in which I will be keeping 1.. I also co-own one dog.. So.. too many!!

I can keep 4 hunted.. That is what I would like to have and will be back down to that number by this time next year..

I have 7 at the moment. Always looking for something a little better for what I do. I do a lot of showing, field trailing, water racing and alittle hunting when the mood strikes me, always been that way. Got it from my father, grandfather and now my nephew Jeff is carrying on but with more hunt than I did.

5 hounds and 3 other dogs ranging from 4 months old to 6 years old. 2 of the five hounds is out of my 6 yr old female, and yes all of the hounds get hunted that are old enough to go. 2 are just little pups that get yard training!!!

It's very easy to get more than one can hunt. At the present time 4 that will tree coon, one that would like to be able to tree coon, two yearlings, three pups. Any thing under two years old won't have an established residence. Cory Mailes will often have anywhere from 20 to 30 head. He is down right now he must have 15 to 20 head. He may or may not have any for sale. I know guys with new trucks that have stoped a few hundred yards before reaching his house and walk in. When you have about 10 head of pups jumping on the side of that new paint it will leave a lasting impression. Matt Merrill has told me that the first time he went to visit Cory he thought he had died and went to heaven, bluedogs everywhere. It often takes a little time before the entire blue crew makes it out of the woods to see what's taking place. One thing for sure there isn't any stray cats in that area.

i've got one 9 month old plott, one 5 year old kemmer cur, one 2 year old stephens cur and two 10 year old feists. when i go hunting, i take 1 trainer, 1 trainee, and one retiree, or i might take all of them and have a party. i tell my wife i have 5 dogs but only one pack.
