North American Free Trade Agreement. nowhere in that statement does it say overseas trade agreement. or does it say tax breaks for the companies that move production overseas.

When Clinton was president, I watched semi's back up to the docks where I worked at the time, and dock workers load up one giant press, after another, going to Mexico. Guess what, I don't work there anymore, and it was a plush job.

well, I didnt vote. I knew this stuff was coming though. How do we know what it would have been if Kerry were elected. We have no way of REALLY knowing what he would have done. Who knows. Anybody that wants to use my tax money to help selfish, cold-hearted women kill there babies is not getting my vote. Bush is sure enough got us in a mess in Iraq too but I tell ya what. I never thought I'd say this but those people in our military SIGNED UP for that stuff. I hate it but its true. THose little unborn babies never get a chance. I dont have a right complaining about anything Bush does cause I didnt vote but I couldnt vote for kerry either ............... if I did and he got elected I wouldnt sleep nights. Just my opinion.

If your in construction and you can't find a job your not looking hard enough. I know for sure that here in central Missouri you could get a job in less than a day in the construction field. Jobs are abundant if your not afraid to work.

Alot of good points made here. Bush is a fool thats no doubt. He has us over there fighting for his families oil. And he has given most of our jobs to out-of-country people. This is a realy bad thing. He opened up the mexican borders and that totaly threw the construction fields into an uproar. Who ever it was that said it is easy to find a job was right but.... the same job you had 2 years ago for $20 phr is now a job of $8 phr. Thanks to all the over the border folks comming in and getting in the mix. It is all about money to those people. Always has been. They were right also when they said our troups are over there fighting and dieing. Another sad thing, but, the point was made. They did sign on. Clinton (s) did mess alot of things up that Bush is getting blamed for. Bill was no angel and I wish everyone would stop the talk about how he was. He was a drug dealing Liar. Know this for a fact.. But anyway to the point. Bush is an idoit, and a money hungry one at that. But.. When we do start getting hungry atleast we can go shoot us something to eat and not have to stand in line behind 5 billion minorities to get free food.....Since Clinton <s> made them so much more important than the common man.... If all man/woman were equill we wouldn't need the minority crap. Give everyone the same things. Get rid of special interests and Honestly make everyone Equil... Guarentied Kerry wouldn't of done that..
Hope I don't offend anyone I'm just sick and tired of the hole political blah blah blah crap. Get rid of them all and let man fend for himself again it worked so much better then.

Right on Bludawg! This crap has been going on for ever! I remember when gas was .49 a gallon, seems to me gas and oil prices have been on the rise for a very long time. Prices go along with inflation, times, and cost of living. And for those of you who know about statistics, the unemployment rate is factored by statistics, but the politicians don't say that, they just blame the other guy and tell you their spin so they can win.
People need to be educated in this whole political process, and once you know how it really works and what the issues are, then you can make an informed decision on who is the best man for the commander in chief. Things haven't gone as well as Bush may have expected, but he didn't expect the Twin Towers to be obliterated either! Clinton knew bin Laden was the terrorist on the first attack and let him go! None of this junk is the fault of any one man. Our entire country seems to be digressing. SORRY, this is UKC not CBS

hedimarty, It maybe 8.00 phr there but i do know that its anywhere between 10.00-15.00 per hour around here if they are skilled in the trade. I have never seen it 20.00 phr around here and you are right that people are hiring Mexicans because they don't mind alittle hard work. I agree with you that this isn't good for the American people but its been happening in the United States for decades its just in the last few years getting bad around here. Many states have been hiring Mexicans for many years especially the Fruit farms(apples, peaches and so on). Its not just one Presidents fault that this is going on but it is a problem. How do fix it? Where do you start? I'm for getting the jobs back to Americans where they belong but how? If you owned a business(i don't know you might) but would you pay a guy that doesn't work as hard as this other guy more money or pay a guy that will work harder for less money and put the difference in your pocket? I believe that most people that are in business for their self (small construction business) would rather pad their own pocket before giving to Joe the worker. So how do you change whats going on,I don't have an answer.

I for one, are one of "some mothers child" involved in this war. Yes I volunteered and I am DANG proud of what I do!! For all you silly Son of A Guns who think we are fighting over oil and all that should come to Iraq and see for yourself why we are there. This liberal media we have in the US is by far Pathetic in it's reporting of the news...plain pathetic!!!!
I am also a father and a husband.......If you will recall about a month or so ago the onslaught that occurred in Russia in Beslan, the killing of all those children and parents in a public school by some fanatical Muslim terrorists...That is why I am prepared to do what it takes to make sure it doesn't happen in MY country!!!! This goes along with 9-11...any chance I get to rid the world of one more terrorist, so that they may not plan/participate/fund any more of these types of attacks I plan to capitolize on!!! Would Kerry pursue these guys with his "more sensitive" approach to this war??? HECK NO!!!
Also, I do not know but a couple people on this board, and they are hard working Americans like myself, and if you pay attention to Bush's tax plans, unless you are making up near $250,000 a year..then you are good to go!! I know I don't make anywhere close to that. Kerry would tax us lower/middle class like it's no bodies business.
Yes, I have had to give up seeing my family as well as my most passionate hobby..coonhunting. Thanks to great friends like Lee Smith, I will still have a dog in coonhunting shape when I get back! But in the end, when I return..I will feel comfortable that I will be able to enjoy this sport with my children for years to come.
As for work, if don't mind a little sweat and hard work, you can easily make $15.00 an hour..and that is with minimal skill!
So, lets all be good Americans and support our president..man..it is amazing that some "dumb SOB" can get re-elected...think about it!!
Thanks to GW Bush and his policies, you can sleep good at night!!

Thats called socialism, its failed all over the world. Free enterprise the harder and smarter you work the more you make. Thats whats made this country great, people working harder and smarter and being rewarded for it.

Above you said give, to me you earn, you shouldn't be given anything by the government except protection.

Why should those who work harder, longer, and smarter pay for those who won't? Can you answer that?

DRP Most over here think Bush changed his focus over to Husain to finish up his fathers work on gaining total control of their oil. And, it seams thats becomeing a tougher job tha he thought. I wish his focus would remain on Terrorism. I am not against him fighting that at all. I wish he would just Nuke that part of the world and be done with it. Thos people have terrorised the hole planet forever now. I know it's not as simple as that but it sounds good. \
Kenny...Yeah it's dropped dramaticaly up here. We're not that far from you but it has become like a minature Dallas around here. It has been happening for ever thats true but it seams since Bush said it's a free for all for them to come in it's gotten so bad around here. I've nothing against them working or trying to grab some work but. Their totaly devistating the country. Dad told me years ago that a Mexican friend of his told him. We are going to re-gain this country and never fire a shot. I mentioned the situation to him about a month ago and he reminded me of what he told me like 15 years ago. You have a point also. If you can hire 5 of them for $2 or $3 a peice why would you hire one man at $15. Well I do have a small construction company. I have always said I wouldn't hire them, I would hire american first. Some may say thats descriminating but. If their not Americans, I don't feel they Have any rights here so therefor it's Not descrimination. Kind of like the California deal when they said All ilegals were entitled to a free educationand free medical,It was unconstitutional not too. Well....."Their Not Americans!!" how does it become un-constitutional ? Where in the Mexican constitution does it say. Americans Have to hire you and give you free school and medical ?
Ok sorry getting into it again Lol... Sheeww ! back to the main point. We do.... need to get the jobs back to americans... And Thank God we can still hunt!!!!!!!!!!
Fells good to blow of steam like that early in the morning. hehehehe.

Have a beautiful day.
PS. My Redtick (6 months old) Treed his first coon last night. The fight was on........... (break the ice a bit)

For all you who keep saying Bush is the cause of high gas prices and Bush just has us fighting a War for his Familys oil co . First let me say that Oil has dropped 5 dollars a barrel in the few days since bush got elected . The price at the pump should have dropped with it . Bush don't control the price of gas . BP , Exxon and all those other big gas companies do .
Bush does not own any oil in Iraq . Please give me the name and location of the oil Company Bush owns that is in Iraq . You cannot !! This is either hearsay you are spreading or a bald face lie .
I remember how everyone in this country was all for defeating terrisom . Right after 9-11 . The flag of this great country flew high and everyone said go get em boys . You know I am telling it right . But how soon we forget ! We stood behind President Bush and pariotism was at a all time high now your turning your back on the Commander and Cheif after you cried out for Justice . Shame on you !!!
I also was a solider during Panama and desert Storm . I know how it feels to be the one fighting. The best thing for them is rally behind them and thier leader . Comander and Cheif/President George Bush
