UKC has always said that casts are not to call the MOH with questions. Allen G has stated it on this forum. It is stated in the Advisor book. Last year it was stated and read off the yellow sheet at every hunt.

As far as I know, calling the MOH from the cast with a question IS NOT a scratch. UKC simply asks that you not do it. The MOH is suppose to refuse any and all questions recieved by phone or any other way outside the question procedure listed under rule 18.

One last comment. Nothing good ever comes from spectators imvolving themselves in the hunt.

I have a gunrack mounted below the back window in my ex-cab nissan truck. There is a .22 parked in that gunrack 365 days of the year, never gave it a thought. I dont know a hunter back home that didnt keep a .22 in his truck all the time. One reason I keep one in there because back where I grew up, deer were gettin hit pretty frequently, I had to put down several layin along the roads, or in the ditch.
