I just ordered a CZ82 pistol from AIM. $219.95 including shipping with 2 12 round mags and holster. I had wanted one of these for a long time because I have a Bulgarian Makarov in the same caliber 9x18. The CZ is double action but allows for cocked and locked carry which the Mak doesn't. I have ordered from AIM before and their stuff generally is new or next to new with the only wear from the years of storage. Anyway, a CZ for under 220 is a deal too good to pass up. Unlike most American made pistols, these Commie guns ALWAYS go bang right out of the box with no tuning.

Hey Jim,

Great, I looked at a Couple of those Pistols,
My Mauser arrived at a bad time, My Mother in law passed away, I took off work, and stayed with the kids, Cleaned house, and helped my wife every way I could, it was very sad.
I go back to work Wednesday.
Today, I took a little time to play around with my Mauser.
The Rifle was full of Cosmelene, I disasembled it, and cleaned it with Alcohol, Tooth Brushes, Cotton Swabs, and I got some really strong Bore Solvant, and cleaned the bore.
The Rifeling looks Great, I couldnt help myself I took it out and shot it, with some Surpluss Romanian ammo, It is very accurate.
Shoots high under 100 Yards, but groups nicely.
I cleaned it again when I got home.
I will take a pic, and post it on here, Its just an old Military Bolt Action Rifle, but its beautifull to me.
I bought this one, from Samco Global. Its a 24 47 with the bent bolt handle. PS, I called the ATF and ordered my C&R License aplication kit. I will take a Picture and post it on this thread.

Thanks Jim,
The Bore looks like new, I can tell the Rifle was fired before, but the Soldier that used it must have taken good care of it.
I bought that one from SamCo Global Arms. They have some of them left, Thanks for Checking them out.
I also joined The Firing Line Forums, Im TX Hunter on there if your a member there too.

Richard, I just got an email flyer from AIM. They got Mauser VZ24's in very good-excellant for $209. They look really good. The VZ's are among the best Mausers available today from what I'm told.

1903a3 sniper rifle

boys my wife bought the gun of my dreams back in '89.it's a 1903a3 springfield sniper rifle that's actually made by smith-corona.on the end of the barrel where the front sight is supposed to be it has a flame stamped with the letters s c on each side of the flame.below it is the date it was made 6 43.it also has a 3 stage adjustable trigger.it has a monte carlo walnut stock,i know that's not orignal stock but i think it is cause i've got a few books showing them with it military books i mean.the rifling in it is deeper and has a different either faster or slower rate of twist than any other '06 i've seen,i dont really know how to measure rate of twist.the books i've got are up to date its title is 1903 guns of the military.the rem. co. also made 1,the 1903a4 i'd love to have 1 of them.the best group i ever made was a 1/2 dollar size 6 rds.at 1/4 of a mile with 2 of them in the same hole the target was a 4x8 sheet plywood.longest shot on a deer was an 8 point at 478 yds. used range finder to measure it deer dropped in it tracks, never moved.took me3 hours to drag it out myself.gun weighs 10lbs with 5rds. in it

Ears Jim,

Sorry it took me so long to get back on the thread.
I have been kind of tied up on the Firing Line Forums.
I have gotten so into the C&R Guns.
Ears, Im so Jealous, I have alwayse wanted an 03 Springfield.
Especially the Sniper Rifle.
I did however recently buy one of my favorites.
Its a Finnish M-39 Mosin. This is probably the best shooting Iron Sighted Rifle, I have ever fired. Please Visit me on the Firing Line Forums, on there I am TX Hunter.

Here is a Pic.
