Redryder, I understand your? And I think a lot of others do and also get the concept. I guess after reading through all the replies the consensus is slamming someone is alright with everyone and NO, UKC shouldn't ban anyone. Like I replied first we are all men so we should act as such and confront the person you have the problem with. We live in the US so we have freedom of speech! Where you draw the line is the question and no matter what, some will bark louder and more than others. Should it be allowed on the UKC site? Sure, freedom of speech. A lot of people read your thread and got so worked up over a past incident that they got off the ? Usually it's human nature to bad mouth an individual or a club if you got a bad deal from either and a computer makes it easier for the person to talk down the club or person who they feel gave them the shaft. I guess you will read and believe what you want. If UKC were to barr for things like this then we wouldn't

I hit the wrong key! Anyway, What I was saying is this, if the UKC barred everyone for slander then we would probably ALL be barred sooner or later. FREEDOM OF SPEECH and as long as you speak the truth and tell it like it is then life will go on and some will change their ways or have thick skin.

I find it interesting that if you use the name of Jimmy Houston on some fishing boards, the posters on that board are quick to point out his ethical and legal deficiencies in regards to a hunting incident in Indiana. But on other boards, his co-defendant seems to be highly regarded and a winner of some of the highest competition events that organization holds. One has to wonder if the same ethics are used to win such events?

If you will notice, I didn't use any names, point out any organization, or accuse anyone of any wrong doing. But, there are some that would know exactly what I am talking about.
