MAYBE

It was just the walkers night to win , you might go another night and it might be the leopards [ or mt. curs ] turn to shine. On any given night any dog can be beat. I would say that if you were wantin a real test between 2 dogs , take the same 2 dogs and hunt 10 nights in a row and then make the judgement. But also remember that there is always a dog [ of any breed ] out there that can on any givin night, beat yours [or my ] dog. I have been huntin 25 years and I have seen even the best of hounds have a bad night. Remember every time you brag on a dog they can [and will ] make us all look like a liar. Just my opinion. GOD BLESS YALL.

Yep. Always the way it works. There's good in all breeds and every dog has a time where you just wanna shoot em. Or at least leave em

cur or walker

Ive hunted with Curs and Walkers and both are capable of winning. If you took the best of the best, I would have to flip a coin. The best bear dog I hunted behind was a Leopard and the best coonhound I hunted behind was a hound. But Ive seen a Leopard make my friends top hound look average. I couldnt pick one because i like all good dogs. My first dog I coonhunted with was a collie-shep mix and we could tree coon in hot weather and in snow. I think if a dog has it, he has it. Just my opinion.

REMEMBER

A CUR HUNTS TO PLEASE YOU [ MUCH LIKE A BIRDDOG ] A HOUND HUNTS TO PLEASE ITSELF. THAT IS WHY YOU DONT HAVE TO CHASE A CUR ALL OVER THE COUNTRY TO GET THEM BACK. JUST SOMETHING I HAVE NOTICED. GOD BLESS YALL.

I noticed that too. Some of the curs I've hunted with don't even need a leash tell them to come on their coming. If I tell my little one to go hunting hess gone if I tell him stay in the yard he won't leave

I have a B&T and a Bluetic that will both do that. I will have a walker that will do it when I get to training her(she isn't started yet). It isn't the breed it is the training.
I wouldn't bet .10 on a breed. It is the dog that you put your money on...........
