I like how people think the QB is the only player on the team. The Vikings and the Saints have the best all around teams in the NFL. The Colts can't stop the run, and a QB can only take so many hits. At the beginning of the season the analyst's said the Colts should make the playoffs because they had one of the easiest schedules of the year. The Saints, one of the hardest. Yes both teams played well. I just see the Saints having a more well balanced team on both sides of the ball. We'll see what happens and if the officiating crew is as sorry as it was in the Vikings, Saints game, who knows who might win.

..the Colts CAN stop the run..............what do the Saints have in a running attack that the Jets and Ravens didn't???........other than a great QB to keep the defense a little more honest???????...lol

There will be plenty of roughing the passer penalties! If a stiff breeze blows by Manning he will be GIVEN a freebie. With a decent officiating team that officiates fairly the Saints will win. If they give Manning a roughing penalty (as usual) every time the defence gets thru the Colts O line the Colts will get handed a free Bowl ring.

I guess I watched a different game than some of you did. I didn't see any "dirty hits". Rolling your ankle while being tackled is just part of football, it happens. And the one hit that everyone was whining about Favre getting driven to the ground, it's called finishing. If you have a decent coach when you first start to learn the game of football, they teach you to wrap up and take them to the ground when you are tackling someone. Defensive player was in motion and Favre still had the ball when he was initially hit. If you don't want to spend any time getting knocked to the ground, take up golf.

Did anyone see the hit the Colts D put on Sanchez(Jets QB) after he threw the ball and was just standing there? They hammered him and he didn't even get a flag. If the Jets D would have hit Manning like that there would have been a riot! There is about 2 or 3 QB's that get the powder puff treatment and Manning is definantly one of them. I will bet he will get atleast 2 roughing calls that are questionable at best during the SB. It's hard to stop any offence when your not allowed to touch the QB.

ESPN featured a segment on NFL Live last night. It showed several calls the officials missed and several they made that were clearly wrong, most clearly in favor of the Saints.
The 12 men in the huddle, the picks, and the fumbles were the fault of the Vikings, but the officiating clearly leaned towards the Saints. That isn't my opinion, it is the opinion of several professional analysts that covered the game.
That said, I still hope the Saints win.
Peyton is a tough QB, but he gets a lot of calls if someone even touches him. If the Saint's pound him like they did Favre, it will be interesting to see which way the officials go.

If they let them pound him like they did Favre, he will go out faster than Favre. I will give Peyton his dues, he is a great QB. But he has never taken as many hits as some. I think the refs from the Vikings, Saints game were from Greenbay. LOL

Im sure the refs greased the football when the vikes had the ball so they couldnt hold on to it.
If you look real close you can see the ref on the sideline pointing to where he wanted Farve to throw the interception that lost the game instead of letting him jog into field goal range.
yep, obviously a conspiracy.

This is better than listening to parents at a little league game.

All pro sports are fixed. The only true sport left is wrestling.

The Saints will dominate with their defense. Their offense is not bad either. Big air

The colts played the #1 defense last weekend and look what Peyton did to them! Are you guys kidding!? Yeah their run defense was terrible throughout the regular season but in the playoffs they have shut down two great running attacks! Their defense stepped up when it counted. The Colts have the experience and the saints dont. Drew crumbles under pressure in the superbowl in my own oppinion. it'll be a high scoring game with two great air attacks but the colts are gonna come out on top by at least 2 touchdowns!
