Remember

we had made the whole walk hunt and we pretty much thought that the hunt was over. We tied belle up and we was just sitting around talking and couple minutes went by then she started striking off the chain so I let her loose and she went up the hollar towards the top and started trailing it and in a min she was almost out hearing. That was before I had a garmin and we had to haul ass up over the first ridge to keep up with her. Then we ended up treeing again on the way out and got another one.

I

ain't hunted with crown in a while. I let Belle Loose friday night and sent her straight up behind my house she was struck and treed in about 10 minutes. She had the meat in a good tree. I wasn't really hunting I pulled in the driveway from hanging out with some buddies and when I cut the truck off Belle was otting out back wanting off the chain she was wanting to go hunting. I hadn't had her out in a week or two. So I said Hell I'll let her go and send her up behind the house. I cut her loose and sat on the front porch and listen to the chase...I didn't even have my light on or anything. She treed then I went and put my cloths and light and went to her. I had to walk about 400 hundred yards from the house she was treed in a red oak long side a old field I've treed coons in it probably 20 times in my life dunno why they hit that same tree even after generations of coons have come and gone. Something about that tree they hit it. My pup out of belle is striking and running good but her treeing ablities aren't coming on liked I was wanting but She's doing ok. I got a new pup about two months old I think She's gonna be a coon dawg. 12-16 months down the road I geuss I'll about that one.
