There is no advantage in being the judge. In fact, it can be a dis-advantage, and usually is. you not only have to listen for your hound, but learn and listen for the others, determine who struck in where, who treed where, all the while trying to call your hound too. There's no advantage. if it was, you would have four handlers in every four dog cast wanting to judge. Believe me, that is not happening.
