Why do you need a gps ? I mean you're just coon hunting right? I can track my dogs just as well, the only differance is I can't see them, I'll see them on the wood. C.H.C. is working on this law.

I hear yah Okie Dawg, I got one and have never not been able to find him, those garmins would be pretty worthless in the big woods. Most fellas that have those Garmins run tracking equipment w/them because they are not trust worthy yet? Just what I hear?

Nope they are plenty reliable and plenty good enough for "the big woods".

As far as what I 'need' one for, doesn't matter. I shouldn't have to prove a "need" to use one. But for the record it is much safer for my dog to have one.

Still doesn't change the fact that it's none of the legislators business what I 'need' one for. They don't need to know. They need to keep their nose in their own business and leave people alone.

I hope you guys continue to fight the fight, but I fear in a state as crazy as California you poor sane folks have already lost the war. They already outlawed mountain lion hunting by lying and claiming they were endangered when they were not (outdoor life article on this).

I say let the lions keep on proving just how big a lie that was!
