I've been feeding Diamond for a couple of years, but am finally fed up with all their recalls. I've also been hearing about people getting rank smelling bags. So, I made the switch today to Southern States.

Here are the prices at the feed store in Lafayett, GA:

Product Content Cost/bag Cost/lb
Advanced Sport 24/20 $19.95 $0.50
Advanced Active 26/18 $20.87 $0.52
Complete Sport 24/20 $16.50 $0.41

I bought the Complete Sport. I would have got the Advanced Sport but they didn't have it in stock. The Advanced Active has a little too much protein for my liking.

JMO but I look at price per cal/cup instead of price per pound. Also LESS stool is better than just good stool. With that said stay away from wheat, corn and soy ingredients and you really can't go wrong.
