Oklahoma has been hit hard. I don't know what the #s are, But I work for FedEx Freight, and we have doubled our freight the past few months, but we get word every day, that companies are cutting production or shutting down.. It's not helping with X-Mas and the hollidays coming up.. For example. We might have hauled 18 skids of freight to a company daily last year, this year we might haul 2-skids every other day... NOT GOOD.. It breaks down like this, There's no light shining yet, at the end of the tunnel...

Saw the Fed Chairman, Beranke, on the news the other night. To paraphrase him, "Well boys, we have hit bottom and are headed back up real fast. The good times are just right around the corner". I am in the concrete business down here in Texas, and somehow we must not have gotten the memo. To say that things were slow would be an insult to the word slow. Things are dead. I have been in business for 35 years and have never seen it this bad before. Once in the mid '80's it got slow for awhile but not like this. We are just hanging on by a fingernail. A man told me the other day that he thought they were going under. I told him that we were already breathing through a straw. One year ago I had 35 employees, today we have 9. Companies are taking jobs around here at below cost just to have some cash flow. It doesn't take a dummy long to figure out that a company cannot stay in business long doing that. If a job comes up and I want to bid on it, I have to cut it to the bone, and then most of the time we get beat. They are throwing around a lot of money up there in Washington, I just hope some of it sticks down here in Texas. I graduated from High School on a Friday night in 1970 and went to work on Monday morning. Since then I have never drawn one penny of welfare or been without a job of some kind. I have always believed that if a man wanted to work, there is always something he can do. So what if you have to change your lifestyle some. Get over it and find a job, somewhere.

I believe we have been floating around down there for a while now.I also have worked even before i graduated high school,bailing hay,walking beans,detasling corn,fast food places shopping centers babysitting.(that all was while i was still in school)Then thier was the USMC, after that i got into an apprenticeship too be an electrician.it all went to **** in a handbasket in one night.now i just kind of hang out a LOT which really sucks bad, i have a lot of friends that work thier tails off and dont have nothin too show for it. Mainly its because their bosses DO NOT AND REFUSE to put up a fair wage,you really cant expect too find good help when they're still paying as least as they possibly can and get away with it.No one has any balls in the USA anymore too stand up for what they believe in.UNITED WE STAND DIVIDED WE FALL!!!!Thats what i see is happening to our country,we dont own it anymore,its all in wallstreet

I will agree a mexican will work and are not lazy. They will do a lot of jobs that most people won't.But they will work for nothing and i mean nothing. Where there from they get paid nothing thats why they come to the USA for work.. They pack 20 to a house so their cost of living is down here, so they can send all their money back to their families. We, us american's, have to pay their health care and have special teachers at our schools to teach these mexican's and a lot of other goverment offices. Who pays for this? We do..Far as drug problems, where is most of the drugs brought to the US come from? Go do a search i bet you will find out a lot is imported from MEXICO...Who on the streets do you see selling drugs most? blacks and mexicans.Sure there are whites as well but the others out # us by a long shot...

I am a commercial fisherman and also have a constrution company..Did you know that a mexican can go to the state department here in NC and tell them he wants 2 become a commercial fisherman and the state will set them up in business free of charge..Thats right free new boat, crab pots, eel pots, nets,and a place to live tax free for 5 years....Same as in the construction business also..I could keep on and on but to finish it off anyone who supports them being here is the person who hires them because all they see is the allmighty dollar sign in there eyes. They can save money by giving out less to the mexicans, so it makes their pockets fatter and the hell with his own kind..We, us AMERICAN'S, needs to stick together and take our Country back before its to late..

The person to blame is sittin in texas with a big glass of ice tea living lavish while he sits back watches us try to bounce back from the damages he done for 8 years straight he accomplished his goal of driving up fuel costs for his on benefit of retirement now can you guess who that person is well if you don't know here's a clue G.W.B.

Well , Michigan has the highest unemployment rate in the country , and Montcalm County has the highest unemployment rate in Michigan. And I live in the middle of Montcalm County !
NOT GOOD around here !
