quote: Train them for house life? Let them sleep in the bed? Let them ride in the front of the truck?
You have got to be kidding.
No way would a dog of any breed be in my house for any reason, and dang sure would not be allowed in my bed nor ride in the front of my truck.
I guess you people that want to do that and treat them like a person in a way go right ahead.
I'll keep on leaving them outside where they belong. And having them ride in the dog box like the should.
Lol, A dog?? in the cab of the truck?? God forbid!! lol No, im not kiddin'. Thats fine if you don't want to, don't really care. Thats usually the response i get from fellow coon hunters lol. My dogs are in no way treated like humans... in order to live in the house they must know their place as a dog even more than a dog that stays outside. And yes, he is my buddy. He goes everywhere with me. I will not tolerate a dog that needs a leash at anytime. They will learn to do exactly as i say, and in return, i get very well balanced dogs that can do much more than just hunt, and i can enjoy them all day everyday, not just when they're treein' coons. He even gets my attention when he needs to puke so that he can go outside to do it. lol As a matter of fact, Bo is chillin on my bed with me as im typing this.
