I also switched to the Native level 4. I pay around 33-34 bucks for a 40lb bag. Which seems like a lot but I've figured it out and i'm actually feeding close to 30% less than i used to and that just about makes up for the extra money. Plus my dogs love it and look GREAT! I'm a firm believer in the stuff.

I was feeding the brown bag walmart and done well on it BUT I am feeding Diamond Sport now. I was my big B&T a 39 oz. coffee can a day. Now I feed him 4 cups and he stays in good shape. His cote is look better and his stool is not near as much.
The brown bag ol-row is $27.00 now and the Diamond is $20.00 both are 50 lb. bags.
I talked to a friend that can get Black Gold for $ 22.00 for 50 lb. if I can do that I would go to Black Gold. Always want to feed it. It is just to high here. It runs around $ 27.00

I feed Diamond Maintenance after a pup is 4 months. Got one 13 yr. thats still in great shape. Just feed more when hunting hard. Started when it was $11.50, now its $24 here. I feed 8 dogs. 1 is hyper. 7 got a little fat over summer on three to four cups. For the last month, cut the down to two cups and don't see them falling off. I'll start hunting hard in about two weeks. That'll take it off.

I Feed River Run 24/20 all our hounds love, I feel it is just as good as Black Gold It only cost 20.00 a fifty, Hows Smoker doin you got a fine Black dog when you got him I should Know I handled him for Mr Dale Grissett from zero to Grand and PKC top sixteen IN NC in 2005

I have tried them all, but nothing can beat the Hi-Standard product. I switched over to it almost a year ago and the only complaint I have about it is that I didnt switch earlier on. Saves me time (scoopin) and money (I pay $19/50lb).

Dry Dog Food that claims to have Omega 3 fatty acids is just a sales pitch. The ingredients before they process the food contains it,,but after processing at high heat it kills all the Omega 3 fatty acids.

well sense discussion came up we fed purina a couple years ago to the beagle and the coonhounds and they had the shits or should say very loose stools.heard about burning the kidneys out of old dogs from our vet on anything with more than 24-26 percent protein once they become a senior like the performance stuff.we now have been feeding diamond for about 8 years once in awhile using joy hi pro 24/20 that works well also 1-2 stools aday no more 3-4 with the hig high energy just my opion.anyone els hear the same on old dogs and high protein would like to hear your comments thanks.
