I just got my garmin and like it so far have allot to learn. so if I leave the 220 in the truck can I still put my other collar on the dog and run 2 collars? my garmin and tracker collar or can you only use one collar?

We had this talk awhile back. Here was my opinion alot people felt the same way. if the light and sound is shut off and its in a carry case or pocket etc out of site i say leave the thing on. You get 2 hours to hunt if it needs to be done get the dogs caught get out and move on. besides if someone was using it to tree their dog their stupid if their going straight up hill it shows them treed at least the ones i've seen does. I would perfer to know where he's at and where i'm at. Several guys here have saved my dog from getting smacked on the road by using them. Jmo.

I argued this before and still say there is no disadvantage to allowing all tracking systems to be used in the hunts. I know it will never happen and that is fine. But no one has told me how you could cheat with one in a way that you can't cheat already. We allow them to be used in our buddy hunts and no one has complained about anyone cheating with them. Seriously how could you use them to cheat????

The positives would be........

You should be able to stay closer to the dogs to better tell what they are doing and therefor be able to do a better job of judging them.

And most importantly it would help keep the dogs using them safer.

I realize traditionally there are many people opposed. But logically I don't think there are any very good reasons for not allowing the use of them.

Just my 2 cents on the topic.
