If he was indeed arrested, it is a matter of public record, it is probably in your local newspaper and it most likely includes his name, UNLESS, this person is a minor. Then it is a whole different can of worms.

WELL....COME TO FIND OUT THAT THE MAN WHO IS IN QUESTION HAS A WRAP SHEET A MILE LONG. SO WE WILL WAIT AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS.

MAYBE SINCE THE DOG WAS RETURNED THEN HES NOT ACTUALLY CONSIDERED A THEIF, JUST AN ATTEMPTED ONE. LIKE WHEN U TRY TO KILL SOMEONE IF YOU DONT YOU R ONLY ATTEMPTING MURDER, BUT IF THEY DO IN FACT DIE THAT IS WHEN U BECOME A MURDERER.

I BET THAT IS IT. I JUST CANT WAIT UNTIL COURT DAY!

Christy, that's not attempted theft.........that is theft.

Attempted theft would be them coming outside and seeing him removing the dog from the box and stopping him from stealing the dog.

In this case, they came out and found the dog removed from the box and the dog was found in his truck -- that is theft.

Recovering things stolen doesn't change the charge theft to attempted theft............just means the victim got lucky their item was recovered.
