I Ivomec my dogs every month and it's only good for heartworm prevention from what I've seen it doesn't really take care of other parasites. Safe Gaurd is a waist of cash doesn't work for mine. The best stuff on the market is Mearicle Solutions powder wormer. You get alot of it for cheap and it is all safe and all natural. At first I thought it was a joke and I decided to try it because my dog was loaded with Tape worms and I couldn't seem to get rid of them. At 1 and half table spoons a day, The second day the worms started to pass and they were dead as all get out. I give it to all my dogs for 5 days strait every month or until I notice no more worms are being passed. Haven't noticed any worms in a long time since using this product. It's also a good duster for fleas. Log onto www.MEARICLE.com for more info and prices.
