i know theres bad grapes in every pile this one that i ate was really sour though. I know i should bounce back and i will. thanks to everyone comments. Its just really hard to suck up 2500. specially in todays time. but ill continue on. we'll see what happens. i do love this passion. i saluate you for being a strong outdoors woman. We need more of you. i think its great that u love it. well happy hunting and save some for everyone else.

I've known you for a long time, and I have to agree with dear old Dad on this one. I thought you were taught better than that, now I know Gerald taught you to stay away from the dog jockeys around here so I can only assume this one snuck up on you. Well, it can happen to anyone, so don't let it get you down too bad. You can always have fun with a $100.00 dog too you know. Suck it up and get your a** back in the woods Marine!

Money ruined it all. Those who have it are the ones that win it. It's the same in ukc. There are not many poor men that win the big trophy. We cannot afford to take 2 weeks off work. Thats why i pleasure hunt. In my mind i win the final cast every night i go.

These boys hunt these dogs in the hunts just to finish them to either sell them and or let them rott and get another project to hunt when the dog is no where finished and I have hunted in two hunts and I thought that was were the real coondogs were and I didn't enter a hunt untill my dog was 2 1/2 years old and was pounding coons in a tree no buckets in the wild to draw out in my first hunt with a 13 mth old and a 15 mth old walker dogs that the owners didn't even know if they would tree a coon it was a long night first turn out all 3 dogs hit red hot pounded it to the woods second turnout 2 walker dogs took off running junk both took minus then ended up a mile deep treed that my dog wasn't in on then 3rd turnout they wallered a track for 30 minutes before my dog would pull to them and he run it in the ground in less than 10. Its all about prestiage go buy you a dog off an old country boy that looks rougher than cob and has an old beat up s10 and a dog that has a thin strip down the back of his back and is skinny and hasn't had its toenails cut than you know that dog has been hunted because them old countryboys won't keep a dog that won't tree a coon and can't afford buckets and I have a buddy that has a nice 16 mth old if your intrested pm me he a skinner been treeing his own coon since 9mths old
