You're right we should send the wolves off to extinction like he said. They eat elk and deer! While we're at it let's go ahead and harvest all the whales in the ocean, and kill off all the bears while selling their urinary and gall bladders and other organs off to chinese medicine. They're eating the fish we like to eat. We can't forget killing off all the mountain lions. They might attack a hiker, and eat a sheep. Ohh and badgers, they dig holes. Some cow with no brains might break their leg walking into it.
There is a balance needed in the wild. Preditors are a part of that balance. That doesn't mean we should just have them within the boundaries of our parks. If that's the case we should wall our parks in and make them zoos. I'm not saying not to hunt them at all. But where do you draw the line, and how do you control it.
There's a reason I go out armed when I hunt. I've got no qualms pluggin a wolf or coyote going after me or my dog, but that is the risk we take. I've got no problems shooting the ultimate apex preditor either, but in all fairness they were shooting at me first.
