Everything you just said is what most of them turn out to be.

coondogedog,I've hunted against three like i described in the past,so i know there's some out there. At least there use to be.

ESTEP,Could you PM me with a little more info? Like what crosses best with Pounder to get hard hunting, stay put tree dogs, and things you like best about them, and things you don't like.

Anyone know what type of dog's Tree Daddy, and Legend are?

coonbone,I noticed you asked about Legend and Tree Daddy in an earlier post. They are both very good layup dogs.I would say that is there strongest trait by far. They are go hunting type dogs, and can move a track good, but they have an uncanny knack when it comes to layup ability. Can't say one way or the other on Legend pups yet, still waiting on the first litter(due in a week or so)but Tree Daddy does reproduce his likeness that's for sure, and as others have said on here, the Pounder dogs would fit the bill also if you are wanting big hunting dogs that are one bark, stay put treedogs with the layup ability.I'm sure ther are others that will reproduce them also but I have seen it from the Pounder and Tree Daddy dogs. They both are throwing good acting pups and might be what you are looking for.JMO
