yes i have ran my fair share of hunts and i know, that if you are on the road then most likely none of it is profit, unless you hit the bigger ones and are lucky enuff to get in.there is no way to make money if your like most people running the state races and driving 1 and a half to win $60 on a monday night. its not possible to profit, when i was doing it i had sum1 paying my entry fees(it was their dogs) and at that rate you still don't come out ahead very often. i was talking bout the stud fees, and puppies. and yes i know that it cost a sum money to super stake and performance a stud dog, but look at how many people want to breed to super stake dog, and it really helps because he has been in the winners circle.....alot. if he breeds 5 females a month thats 2k, and you know there be alot stronger months than that.
and i'm gunna go out on a limb and say that they have there own personal females to breed twice a year, i don't know the price of the pups but that gunna run into sum seriuus cash, you can almost guarantee that. and i do not belive he's done winning yet, this will be a hound to watch in the coming years.
