took him a few nights ago he struck a hot track and ran it into a hole. he was buried up to his ribs in the hole. i'm sure it was a coon.
pulled him out and went to another spot. he struck there and trailed into the middle of tornado alley. there is maybe 150 trees all laying on top of each other from a storm that came thru 8 years ago. well he was having a time in there, as i doubt even world champion coonhounds could trail a coon thru it. and i wasn't going in there.
after about an hour and a half of me calling him he finally came out and he was covered in blood. he had a small cut on his ear but it was bleeding like you'd cut his ear off. i put super glue on it but he would just shake his head and the bleeding would start back. next day same thing. last night it seemed to have stopped. i'll let him heal before he is back in the timber. he runs to catch, thats for sure.
