I hunt the Herrell line of dogs, and with the man that started it going on 50 years ago. We sure have a lot of fun with them. they are smart, gritty, family oriented, fast learners, quick starters, and even though we (the plott family) has some problems amongst us, I would go as far to say that the plott people are the most family friendly breed, its exactly like a family we may fight and bicker with each other but and the end of the night we still have the love for the breed
