Dogs flying internationally have to have a USDA health certificate and be quarantined for 30 days. Therefore it is not possible for this to be real as they are trying to ship the dog right away and have not mentioned to you the international shipping requirements. Also, international shipping prices begin at $1500. No way are they going to spend that much and only have you pay $100. They probably got all those pics from someone's online Kodak photosharing.

Please don't fall for this.

Thankfully I came here before falling for it. It just didn't sound right to me. Too good to be true, know what I mean. I never got a name or phone number from them. And the fact that everything had to be done RIGHT NOW sent up the red flags. The pup wasn't what I wanted anyway. They have not e-mailed me since I told them the airlines won't ship or receive any live animals. Guess they are looking for another sucker.

I'm not sure if its an actual person, has to be, but I don't know. When my sister did it they sent pictures of said puppies, but they could have easily taken those from google. They signed there e-mails -
God Bless,
Reverend Jones.

is this phoney

The answer is yes, this is a huge internet puppy/dog selling scam. I posted two dogs that I rescued in the past on internet sites for adoption through legitimate rescues. I got responses offering to "purchase" my "pet" and offering to send me a huge sum of money from a foreign bank. I was then supposed to cash the check and send them back the extra money in US dollars. If I had gone through with this, the check from the foreign bank would not have cleared my US bank in thirty days, they would have been sent US dollars from my bank account and they would never adopt the dog that I had rescued. There are several different flavors of this type of scam, but it is a scam.

I get sad e-mails from "missionaries" all the time that have to travel to a foreign county and can not take their pet with them. Same story, if I send them US dollars, they will let me adopt their pet - and I never even sent them an e-mail or any other message. They all refer to shipping agents and other individuals who will handle the "transaction"" and it is a quite popular scam.

Shannon

i ship dogs all over the world.none of this makes any sence.im sure its a scam.please don,t fool with the people.you can fly dogs year round .but there is only a very few airlines who don,t have a heat embargo on during the summer.as for shipping dog that fast noway.you have way to much paper work to do and lots of the paper work has to be done in a certain time frame.so please .just ignore the people .wish you the best and god bless randy king

Why would you want a blue merle?? I thought this color gene was an akc fault also associated with different health issues?? The better=half raises poms and the breed association is vigoursly working on getting this fault out of the pom breed..JMHO Oh yeah this is a huge scam

The Blue Merle collie is the same as a sable and white, tri color or sable merle. If you breed 2 blue merles together, then you can get into problems. They can produce what is called white merle that is both blind and deaf. Breeding a blue merle to a tri colr is the best way to go, you get blue merles and tris. Breed a blue merle to a sable and white, you can get tri's, sable merles and blue merles, unless the sable and white you bred to was a pure for sable and then you can only get sable and white and sable merles. Breed a tri color to a sable merle you get all the colors, tri's, sable and white, blue merles and maybe sable merles. There is also what they call the white factor. If you breed 2 white factored collies together, you most likely will end up with white and white factors puupies in any color.

I raised Collies for 8 years and it sounds confusing, but it really isn't.

report them to the police and any collie rescue groups you know of. and to your isp. ban them from your email as spam. and make sure you don't give them any private info or you will be the victim of identity theft as well. they are probably using the pics of your kids and pets to scam other people already. change your photo bucket account or wherever they were to protect yourself.
