The MOH ended up scratching this dog for the handler not striking his dog.

What should have happened in this situation?

B WOULD BE SCRATCH FOR NOT STRIKEING HIS DOG HE FAILED TO STIKE HIS DOG ON ON TH3RD BARK TWICE. SO HE IS SCRATCH LOOK IN THE ADVISOR

Where are you getting that he failed to strike by the 3rd twice? I only see where he made that mistake the first time.

There are no warnings in UKC. No such thing.
You have to minus the dog under rule 4(j), then get 4 more without a strike. For instance if a dog has barked 12 times before being struck you can't scratch, you minus and then if the dog barks 4 more times without a strike, you scratch.

Rule 4(j) says to award points and minus them on first offense for not declaring the dog struck on or before the third bark. The handler must then declare the dog struck. In this case dog B recieves deleted strike points (shut out) and no tree points.

i guess this could be a situation where the rules supercedes logic, but it just seems circling the stike but awarding only 75 tree points contradict each other.

thanks Allen, what are your thoughts on Dog A's stirke and tree points. thanks rance
