Ever had dogs run a track or bump a tree that " just don't sound right " ... if you don't hoof it in there and look around you might just keep thinking your dogs are straight .

How about when a track "blows up" .... I've left the fat boys at the truck to sneak in and do some quality control and found possums laying in a creek that they stretched out and moved on from .

Your dog knows just how hard you hunt and just how much you expect ... and EVERY dog will pull the wool over your eyes if you think you can get lazy and say you know what he's doing from the tailgate.

.. you asked for comment , lol.

Go to the redbone side and check out the thread "finally" by meandoldred. I'm a fat boy that don't mind huntin' a dog by itself and have probably logged as many miles behind her in 3 months as most people do in a dog's lifetime. People who FOLLOW their dogs can tell you things you'd never see from the tailgate about a dog. I will never say she is possum broke till I see her turn down a tree that another dog has treed. My Daddy used to say I was wrong for turning my dogs loose on off game, but I'm the only family member that ends up with broke dogs. What works for one dog may not for the next, but from here on my dogs will get the spin cycle from Carolina Kennels. Come go huntin' with the Possum Dog and the Fat Boy and see if your opinion changes.
