boy's and girls if you want to comp hunt and make a name for you and or your dog and it can do it at this age put it in there. if it wins your on your way if not try again. i have been in and out of this comp game a long time yes i have seen a few dog fights but not a third as many as you all act like happens. ill dogs get scratch pretty soon they wont be back do too getting bard from ukc hunts

So I guess if you don't make night champ by 1 year its over.. listen some dogs make it early and thats great but there's more to it. time- time -time learn the traits of your hound in's and out's be one with your dog, I bet you will learn something different next month about your hound that may serve as a plus down the road. I would not pressure a dog theres still alot going on in a dogs mind at that age if they are that good it will only get better.
If you are serious give your hound the best chance to win... Just my opinion....

I understand what you are saying. I had a young dog get ate up bad in a nite hunt one night. He was never really the same after. He got tore up bad. Im sorry I just cant get that out of my mind.
