...................

........once, way back in the 70's...............judge/guide told us to turn loose down a thick creek bank with a small path about big enough for an ant..........all 4 big male dogs hit the small hole at the same time.............my dog bumped into another and they both ya ya'd.................judge scratched 'em right there, before we could catch 'em...................all 4 went down the creek and treed a coon together just fine..........stuff happens..........I had just started competition hunting and learned something that night................don't put your hound in an unecessary position..........next time a situation like that happened, I had trouble gettin the dog's leash unsnapped..........for a second.........smiles........

Only had one dog Scratched for Fighting and it was a buddy's English dog.
I was hunting in a non-sactioned youth event and we had made two trees, this dog had both first trees. I tied him back off the tree and when we were leaving, the one kid was petting his female up on the tree. As I untied him, he drug me back to the tree and him and the female threw their heads and flashed some teeth at each other as they were treeing. Judge Scratched us both.

One time........and well deserved. It was the first and last competition hunt for this particular dog. RIP Butch.

one night i got casted out with two dogs one i knew was mean(that already got into it with my male earlier in the year just buddy hunting) the other was a young pup female. i knew the blue dog was gonna start it so when the judge said let them go,(keep in mind im 20 yds away from the cast at the start of the hunt) i decided i would hold my male untill the bluetick bolted towards the woods. i was wrong, he came flying right for me jumping and biteing i picked my dog off the ground and started to kick the dog as he was attacking me and my male, after a good 3 or 4 min of the dog going crazy biteing me. i finally landed a good kick to set him down(back a few feet) the judge jumped on the dog and i said scratch the bluetick he did, but heres the crazy part then we let my male go he treed within 5 min. as time was running out on his tree meanwhile the girl handling the dog called he dad (in another cast) told him i kicked her dog he called the MOH. and i was scratched after my tree was scored.i argued with the MOH he said he didnt care i was scratched and if i said another word i would be writin up.
