Thanks all for the condolences on the loss of a great hound, Blackjack. The loss didn't set us back in the ability to continue catching great lions. With a lot of hard work and a bunch of luck Ryan and myself keep turning up with these great cats. The rest of the pack seem to have turned it up a notch. We are running in horrible cold and they have stepped up to the challange.

CONGRATS on those Bigguns... esp the last one! I think it's HEAD is as big as me!!! BlackJack is looking down smiling I bet....

Brian, glad to see things are going well... In your line of hunting you have to be able to dig in and keep going despite your losses.... It's true in any "work" with animals really....

Finally with sorrow in my heart.This is the lion that killed Jack. We would have turned this cat loose on any given day. Under the circumstance there was no way in hell that I was just walking away. We never intended to even run this one. We accidently switched tracks in the morning coming out of the block. Totally my fault. A friend of mine caught the tom we had blocked in the next day.

Rev has entered a new level of bad ass. This picture of him is after he fought and won the bad lion ending in treeing the cat. his face is pretty nicked up with a few cuts on his shoulder also,but all in all he is fine.

For sure I love the pics of the lions.............but hell Im a nightstalker. All this pics are daytime.........Id love to see some Lightfoot dogs in the night treein what I chase. Id chase lions.........if they were "offically" in Iowa...........lets get some guys with Lightfoot dogs on coon. Light a fire under my ass.

Heres a lightfoot hound under a coon. shes all coondawg.
and shes only 2 years old== she was born at Brians house.
shes out of rev x coby. she has desire,brains,and the ability
to get the job done. She backs it up with a big booming bawl
mouth on track, and 80 to 100 bpm tree dog.she has the goods
95% of the time. I've had to ask her not to run those big black critters a couple times-- she is getting the idea. Thats not our
GAME.
