reason for some female coon having young so late is some of them will produce a real early litter than an august litter this i no for a fact do to loss of nesting sites from logging i put up wooden nail kegs for them tp nest in this year 7 out of ten kegs had young in them we have a mamma coon with a bob tail she had young early this spring in one of the kegs now she has three more kits when i checked last week

i have been seeing a momma coon and 3 young at about 5:45/6:30 pm. at our truck garage getting into the trash.there is a path beat down thru the corn patch .
