Let me give you a little lesson about taking from the "rich" and Opramas wealth redistribution.

Walking in a cafe one day a patron saw a wino begging for money.

As he is being served he noticed the waiter wearing an Oprama button. The waiter was very happy to explain that he was for Oprama because he liked the fact that the evil rich people would have to give him money.

He thought this was very funny so at the end of his meal he paid the tab and prepared a very generous tip. After preparing the tip, the waiter seeing he had it ready came over. The patron explained that he was glad that he supported Oprama, and that since he did he was going to practice the wealth redistribution right now and give it to the wino outside.

"Hey, that's not fair I worked for that money and he just sits out there every day".

Well that's what wealth redistribution is, steal from the people that earn it and give it to people that don't.

Suddenly the waiter wasn't to happy with wealth redistribution.

If you think it won't affect you, well if you don't have a job it might not. If you actually work and earn money then you will most likely have your money stolen by the government too under his plan.

Bottom line is it just ain't right to steal from folks that earn the money and give it to folks that don't.

Like the oil companys have been stealing from hard working Americans.........

Like the CEO'S have stealing from their workers retirements and the big shots walking away with Millions, while the average worker loses everything.....

Like the Dems and Republicans are going to steal $700 Billion + from tax paying U.S. citizens to pay off the big-shots ?........


I would much rather give my share of any wealth ( tax ) to a homeless or someone on welfare for that matters, RATHER than see the Big-Shots and CEO'S get it..............................Tim

I didn't read everybody post's nor do I care to, except I did see the post saying that most people would be better under Obama's plan.

This just proves how many idiots there are in this country....or should I say people who can't rationalize beyond the end of their nose or see anything beyond what they are blatantly told.

Can somebody tell me how Obama plans to lower the deficit, fund all these great programs, and give a tax break to 95% of Americans? The fact is, he can't.

There was a debate from the 1992 presidental race on CSPAN a while back, with Clinton, Bush, and Perot. I was barely old enough to understand politics when this race took place, but I'm glad they replayed it so I could see it again. Amazingly, Clinton said he wasn't going to raise income taxes on anybody. Well guess what....first he raised the gas tax, and THEN he raised the income tax. I will also say, Perot was dead on with alot of his predictions. Alot of what he warned about, is happening today!

Here's another note. During the last debate, Obama said, and I paraphrase here..."once we find ways to get our young people educated, then we depend on these college educated people to (uhhh, eerrr) drive this economy." I will translate this to..."Once we find ways to get our young people educated, then we'll tax them and spread their income around."

I have an undergraduate degree and two years of graduate education. Now to work AND PAY TAXES, I have to pass a federal background check and drug testing. But yet for people on welfare to SPEND my money, they have to do neither of the above. ARE YOU KIDDDING ME!?!?!?!

Knox, Obama gets the support of Chicago and thus the state. The rest of Illinois could vote one way and we still cannot out vote the welfare part of Chicago so ...no Obama does not have Illinois and we don't like him or Dick Durbin or our corrupt Gov (Dem) and since Chicago has 68 seats in our senate they can control the state.

Mayor Daley and Obama suppoter and friend thinks none of us should own guns, and Obama voted with Daley's ideas in the Illinois Senate, voted against welfare reform and does not believe in Work reform and has for the last 2 years done a diss-service to the citizens of Illinois by not doing his job as an elected senator but runing for President

Just another step in his calculated program from start to end of just what he has wanted from the beginning.

Rural Illinois is NOT for Obama !!

so did any of you feel strongly enough about your candidate to do any work for them so far, or plan to this weekend? anyone phonebanking? doorknocking? offering to give rides to elderly and shutins?
or are you just hanging out here chatting it up?

IMO - thats mccains problem- people like him enough to trashtalk his opponent , but not enough to get off their duffs and do something. Obama on the other hand has inspired 10s of thousands to give up their valuable free time to help out.
its my understanding that most of the [mccain] gotv work that is usually done by volunteers is being done this year by temp workers who probably dont even support mccain.on the other hand the Obama campaign centers are flush with help and volunteers.

Knox, thanks and yep I know what you mean, I was just rying to show you that in Illinois the city of Chicago outvotes the rest of Illinois. When the elections where held the dot over shi-town was one color and the rest of the state was an entire different color now that says something.

Our Gov supported by Obama helped drive out trucking co from our state by raising lic fees, tax, permits, insurance to 1000% higher than they have ever been.

Obama helped and supported driving out Rock River Arms, Springfield Arms, and several other special arms workers who make fire-arms for police, armed services, tactical operation teams, and yes.....private citizens because they don't want them, don't like them and well just hate guns !!!!

Obama got his rise from State majority leader Mr E. Jones who took laws written by other Dems within this state, let Obama intorduce them in his last year in the IL senate to make him look like a leader. ????

We know what he is, his South side Chicago work has been a joke, more crime, more welfare, more gov't assisted living, and when they use my tax $$$ to run public school buses to the projects to load up the base of the Chicago politics machine (welfare/gov't assitance living) to bus them in droves to the voting polls it is a NO-WIN situation for the state of Illinois.

80% of all taxes in Illinois go to keeping chicago going while they never cut anything, they just keep adding. If we could lose that city we would all be better off, and so would our state.

Our gov who will not live in the gov mansion cooses to fly to springfield every day.....at our expense, and he was..is..a supporter of Obama, and like wise for the reverse.

I can only say it will be a sad day for this country if Obama is elected to the white house, sad for working folks, sad for outdoorsman, sad for those who work hard for what they have because it will all be up for grabs and out the window

Obama - Pelosie - Reed ?????? no checks - no balance - say good-bye to many of the frredoms you have because they will re-write our Constitution to make it fit what they want...mark my words it will happen, how they think it reads is what will matter, and Obama will be appointing 3-4 justices to the highest bench in the country ???? Come now just think about it

I don't vote party lines, but in some cases one must vote agasinst the WORSE of 2 evils and that is what I'm having to do this year. I do not feel Obama will help this country, he will only weaken it, and make it worse. I feel he will use his position to promote his personal agenda, and weaken small businesses. He will destroy the military because it is a great way to cut cost, and in doing so will again make this country weak and a target.....Bill Clinton did it and look at 9/11

Obama has way to may radical ties to his baggage list, and his thinking is tied to these folks, he has to much typical Chicago politices to him and trust me you don't want that type of politics going on in the white house.

He believes in social welfare, get something for doing nothing !!!

The one great thing in this country is our right to debate and raise our issues about our gov't. I chose McCain not because he is better than Obama, Though I do feel McCain is qualified, but for the very reason that I feel McCain is less dangerous to this country than Obama is...simple to me and a very large % of folks up here in Rural Illinois.
