I usually leave out of the tree by 9am and after a doe caught my movement and scared everyone off including to nice bucks that followed her out..yesterday I was ready to go....
When here comes a doe and another doe and well 4 does show up ....I gave the ol "MAE" sound and stopped the leader to look and got her in the heart, Square in the heart, first of the luck..then stopped the fourth deer runnin out with the same "MAE' and hit her a lil behind in the liver n out the stomach ...2 in five minutes Thats a first with the Bow...Stay tuned for the buck hes Been Spotted Now...

This is my sons first Muzzleloader buck. Shot with .50 cal cva at about 100yds. I was proud of him its only his second buck to ever kill last year he shot one with rifle. And this year he missed one with his bow, he was bummed out. John is 11 years old.

This is my daughter inlaw Crystals 17"wide by 17"tall 10 point she harvested opening morning of black powder.She did it all by herself being everyone else was working.Crystal lives for the deer season and this is her nicest harvest.Way to go Crystal!!
Crystals own words:"If everyone in our group has to work opening morning in the future....I believe I can do this year after year"!!. LOL

O.K., here's the story. Beautiful evening to hunt Saturday and did not see much until right before dark. Had a doe working her way towards my stand and I was going to take her. She's standing in my shooting lane and I can hear another deer coming. Let her walk through. Getting glimpses of the next deer and can tell he's a buck but can't tell how big. When he stepped out I didn't have long to size him up but judged him as a shooter. 20 yard shot double lunged him. He ended up scoring 120. Pretty nice buck, I'm glad to get him.

This doe come out at 48 yards, and I shot her. Then I looked up and saw this buck running out of the woods. He ran straight to where the doe was laying in the food plot and started smelling of her. I shot him to. I had them both on the ground in less than 60 seconds.

We live in a 1 buck county, so here is my buck for the year. I killed this buck on a co-worker's farm. He may not be as big as Jan's 13 point, but he'll taste just as good. LOL
