But crank up some twangy ole country music on that scanner...and every coon in the tree would peek to see what that strange noise was...

So, I'd suggest a battery powered AM/FM portable radio...tuned to the local country station

(they really like Hank Jr.)

Tried this Sunday night and to my sheer amazement I suppose it worked unless that dang old coon finally decided to look. Reb got treed, walked right up to the tree and got lucky, spotted eyes in a big fork, not a really bushy tall tree, shot once up in the fork, saw two sets of eyes scramble and spent the next 40 minutes looking for at least one of those 2 sets of eyes! Nothing was working and knew for a fact the coons were there, thought I'd try this as a last resort with the ring tones on my phone. Got ol bandit to look 2 different times to the dukes of hazard themesong!

UNBELIEVEABLE!
AMAZED!!!

I was not kidding!

What's the saying? Curiosity killed the cat...I'd say it killed the coon too.....
