here you go elvis

So you give the dog the benefit of the doubt (pointswise) -50 instead of -125. But by giving him that same benefit of the doubt you are placing him on the tree with off game.

jims right ive seen this ruled on by a fair and honest moh with years of experience.... c takes his minus for leaving tree whatever position he was treed in.... no scratch.

Sorry Elvis you shoulda gave me a heads up, I coulda stoked the fire a little! LOL! I'm sure Jim could handle it!

I personally don't agree with the "don't move up tree position rule". I say if you want the 2 started on your dog because he's not at the tree he was declared on I say they should get moved to 125. Basically they're just getting 2 more minutes for their dog to get treed.

I also don't like the fact that a A and B dog can be declared treed on C dog's locate (granted they are barking up as well but they can't be treed on their own locate) and C trees in for 50 and stays there as A and B go boo hooing thru the country. I also feel that if there is one dog at a tree they should get 125. Who cares if they treed last at least they stayed.

JUST MY OPINIONS, SORRY TO GET OFF TOPIC.

I usually get him fired up on conversations like this. lol But I happen to agree with him on this one.
One point I havent seen mentioned is that when dog C left and was minused, he was scored on that tree then and there. He cant bescored twice on the same tree unless of course he returns to the tree. Also , as far as moving him up, who knows for sure that dog B wasnt split from dog A and dog C was treed with dog B?? Meaning, dog C would still only be moved up to 75. I think the rules say the tree speaks for itself.
