sam to answer your question they are not the only kids to this point to recive anything they were just the first i posted on here and the reason they have recived a bit more to date is they have nothing to work with this donest mean they are any diffrent than any other out there i just gave them what i had to that point...as more stuff comes in more kids will get more as of right now i have 0 lights 2 compassses 2 squallers 3 buckets of coon lix and 2 great supplyers of leashes and collars that will ship direct to the kids if any kids could use a leash or collar please post your name and our generous and awesome supplyers will ship direct to you......REMEMBER ANYONE RECIVING A DONATION YOU MUST SEND OR POST A THANKYOU TO THE SUPPLYERS............

...Don, I know that Bob and I were thrilled to help transport a pup from Autumn Oaks last year back to New England for a youth! We will do this again any time we can if we have travel plans that work out again! If we had money I can assure you we'd do more. I think this is a FANTASTIC opportunity to keep our sport alive in the future.
I respect and admire everyone who has helped out with this, donating supplies, pups or older hounds for youth!
I'm sure there will always be mistrust etc.. especially in the animal world. I would just keep trucking, Don!

Im willing to help out anyway I can. As you know Im in Indiana. I wwill be more than happy to take kids hunting and to supply them a light and such.

I wish there was a program like this when I was getting back into the sport. Its expensive! You can spend alot of money getting started. Kids need our help.

Now that i have this good equipment ill have a chance to hunt in the state youth hunt .My dad is going to take me down .
The light will really help me find the coon . and the squaller will be a really big help in those tricky trees . The new leash and collar will be nice to use . The coon lix to attract the coons for good dog training . And the compass cause you never know where your going till you get there .

Thanks from the bottom of my heart. It is great to see great people step and help us get this going. I have been looking thur some hunting stuff and here are some things for the youth. I have one pink collar and leash. I also have one collar and leash that are orange. I have a pair of chaps. I will send them to the youth soon.

It will take alot of working together to make this program work but IT WILL WORK. It is a new program but it has started working. People are talking about it and that is a start. It is going to take alot of helpers from all over to make it work. We are going thur growing pains but we are growing. We have let everyone know of this program and are getting help from some other great people. Let's work together and anything is possible. This program is proof that we can do ANYTHING.

Don, I think you are doing a great thing helping out our young people. I know you stepped right in when I was trying to get a pup for a young fellow in Queen Creek Az. The pups I was trying to get him lined up with close to him all got Parvo and died. You got him a dog some how and I think that is what this is all about. Thanks for all your work. Larry Marshall

This is Pastor James Lacey from Collinsville Oklahoma. I just wanted to give you a word of encouragement and thank you for all that you are doing for the youth of our sport!!
I have been pastoring for almost three years now and if there is one thing that I have learned it is this........You can't please all of the people all of the time and there are some people that you can't please any of the time. I am 41 years old, I have a wife and seven children, I have worked full time since I was a kid and I work 6 days a week and pastor a church full time now.....I said all of that to say this......Life is too short to go around being concerned about all of the cry babies and trouble makers in the world! I don't tolerate that kind of nonsense in my home or in our church and I refuse to tolerate it from anyone else.
Anytime that you are trying to do something good, someone will come along and try to destroy it. The world is full of people who never do anything except gripe and complain. I learned a very valuable lesson from a great man of God many years ago, his name was Rev. Kenneth E. Hagin, he always said....."the gripers never give and the givers never gripe". That little nugget of wisdom has sure helped me in life and in ministry!

Youth our a huge factor to this sport... but people are right when they say youth are cheated... boy let me tell you the only way for a youth that hunts alot not to be push around is to know there S*** because if they are taught right they'll love the sport but those kids who just go to youth hunts cause mommy and daddy want them to so they can get some new stuff thats BULL S***!

So if you wanna help youth... help the youth that really wanna hunt... who dont just say they do for mommy and daddy!

Honestly, do you think all those dogs yall given away are even hunted... and 2 if they had any chance of becoming a coondog you wouldnt of given them away... so i say this to you if you wanna help the youth help them right give a started dog already running and treeing... but wait you prob want a grand for one that does that cause most people aint got more than a me too dog neways and if you do, he aint forsale! 2nd, Teach them, because when you understand the game you simply have more fun.

Texaschamp88 we can all see you have not looked at our program. If you had you would know that we let the youth pick their pup out of the litter first. That way they get the pup they want. I don't know if they will all get hunted but if they do they will make coondogs. We try and get them the BEST POSSIBLE. Most of the ones I have heard about are making coondogs. Some have make NTCH.

Lets set the record straight. We send the youth good pups out of some of the best crosses in the English breed today. You can keep your me-to-dogs. These kids are getting the best possible. They are making coondogs that can and are winning all over. THIS IS NOT ABOUT MONEY. I have gave the kids the best I could get and sometimes the one I kept for myself. MONEY DOES NOT PLAY ANYTHING IN THIS PROGRAM. Anyone of these dogs will be worth some big bucks if a kids put some time into them. THESE ARE NOT CALLS THAT THE KIDS ARE GETTING. They are some well bred hounds and sometimes all grands. That we bred for ourselves and sent to the youth to help them be able to comp. against the adults out there.

Joey Samuels what one bad thing are you talking about? I don't think we have done ANYTHING BAD. All we are doing is trying to help the youth get started into our sport. If this is a bad thing THEN I AM A BAD MAN AND VERY PROUD TO BE ONE. We have put up with all the neg. crap and we are still going to make this program work. i think it is better to let the kids train there own pup it lets them have somthing to be proud of knowing that they trained it them selfs and if they need help trianing there pup someone should help but not do it all for them hell some of these kids r getting better dogs then most adults i think don is doing a great thing and i hope he does stop doing it cuz some people r jealous that these kids r getting better dog than they r

Mike this is the way alot of people think. They look for bad in everyone. They can not beleive that we are trying to help the youth. They are way off base. There are some great people out there and they are helping the youth. It is great to see the youth get started. It is even better to see they win a few. It takes some great people to make this program work. It is starting to work.
