I live in Wisconsin and I have a friend who had two dogs stolen from their yard. Their was a real string a thefts in the area and the best explination people had was that they were being stolen and taken to a reseach lab in the twin cities. They started using cheep cameras, posted notices that all dogs were tattooed and microchiped.
