So explain to me why, when I was feeding 26/18 to my Bulldogge, she had hot spots & scratched herself raw on her back. The vet told me to feed her crappy food i.e. lower protein & fat, & she got right as rain. Truthfully, I have never had a coonhound get a hot spot, most all my dogs are fed 26/18, except in the winter, then it's 24/20 & I don't have much probelm. My pug gets hot spots from the 26/18 too in the summer.
If you knew how to read you wouldnt be asking me again. Dogs that over heat are over weight... A DOG THAT DOESNT RUN DOESNT NEED A HIGH PROTEIN/FAT DOG FOOD??? thats kind of a no brainer. lol. Theres no reason what so ever that a pug would need that much protein and fat.
