Theft of tracking collars
GET THIS SOB. Every day, all over, we are being overrun buy idiots who move out to the country, buy 1 acre, and suddenly own everything they can see.
In addition to the illegal killing of the dogs- what about filing theft charges????? He removed your property (tracking and shock collars) and took them into his possesion without your knowledge or permission. Don't know what the statute requires to make it a felony, but with the price of a good tracking and shock collar, you might be able to get this clown nailed for felony theft, which would certainly diminish his future in law enforcement.
About the Humane Society-
DON'T HAVE ANY DEALINGS WITH THEM!!!!!!! Don't let a really crappy situation allow us to overlook what they are all about. They spend millions of dollars every year to try and infringe on our rights to own, raise, train, and hunt dogs. Remember- if you lay down with dogs you're gonna get fleas. Talking to them in a situation like this just helps legitamize their hidden agenda of animal rights and outlawing hunting.
They are not necessary to further your cause anyway. Talk to the county attorney and tell him you want charges pressed to the full extent allowed by law. Hire an attorney to file suit for monetary damages, punitive damages, and mental anguish and any other kind of mud he can think of to throw at the loser who did this. Hang in there. Nothing will bring back your dogs, but at least maybe this will help get the message out that it is not ok to shoot a dog just because it is barking.
Good luck and please keep posting updates.
