What kind of insulation does it have?

Is it really worth making one when you paid 300-350 for the materials, plus the time that you put in it.? You can get a brand new box for a little more and you put no time in it. Just my thoughts.

You bet it is. There is something to be said about doing it yourself. Most people do not have the skill, patients, or brains to do it. My dad built a rifle years ago and it is something that can not be duplicated by Remington, Winchester etc. it has meaning.
