Now let's all get the story straight.
That club held 4 hunt tests over two weekends. There were at least three dogs that finished on the fourth night. So in reality, it was a three way tie for who finished first.
Webby is correct in his statement that #3 was the first to finish in three hunt tests....his owner was smart enough to leave him at home the night the one night when the weather was not fit for man nor beast...... and out of all of the hunt tests I think there was one coon treed, and it was after the hour hunt time had expired.....SO
Nobody can truly lay claim to being the "first"...it was a three way tie, and all three of those dogs finished without having suffered a "fault".....
