i am a sec fan
i enjoy all the sec games
im not alabama , alburn, lsu or any specific team
what i would like to see is the sec start playing more teams from other conferances so they would be beat up by the middle of the season
but we all know that wont happen because the others dont want toplay the teams in the sec for some reason

Win with class lose with class is someting many need to learn .If you know as much as you let on you would know the conference and the NCAA decides when the season begins and ends and it is different if your league has a playoff or not.Trashtalking is the same regardless of the sport.How is it any different if you talk trash about a coonhunt or a football game.You can kick any teams schedule from time to time.Last year OSU was the only team ever to play 3 #2 teams in a season beating 2 of them.The next 2 years they play USC but had it easier this year the same can be said for all schools.The whole SEC combined played 2 ranked teams in the regular season this year.Congrats LSU you deserved it.As for the bowl games most are in the south so SEC schools will almost always be closer it is just the way it falls and if LSU would play USC in the Rose bowl you would feel the same way.

OSU just got beat plain and simple by LSU .... but neither of those teams are playin football at the level of UGA or USC those two teams are playing almost unbeatable football i would have loved to see them play each other in a bowl game instead of the waste of time games they both played that were just blow outs....

georgia, LSU, Florida, tennessee, kentucky and i still might be leavin some school out were all ranked this year in the SEC and im pretty sure most of them played each other so Reddog how do u justify what u are saying???


LOL!!!!! GA Dawg i wouldnt go that far it was a joke for Hawaii to even play in a top bowl game they were no where near the level of any of the other teams!!!

LSU did win plain and simple and as i say lsu fans should be proud.As far as scheduling osu has to play the big ten schedule and can't change that.They could and should schedule tougher non conference teams.I would not call the non conference games that lsu scheduled tough either.middle tennessee 5-7,tulane 4-8,louisiana tech 5-7.At this time the big ten is down and thats a fact.This is also a fact the weak big ten has three teams that have won more than 5 national championships(OSU-7 MICH-7 MINNESOTA-6)the SEC only has one alabama-11.

My comment was supposed to read ranked teams non conference in the regular season as that is the only teams you have control over who you play.None in the SEC has had any tougher non conf schedule than OSU has played the last few years with this year being an exception but as far as OSU playing in state school they have heard complaints for years about playing out of state cupcakes so why not play some in state schools which they did this year.
Buckshot,I trash talked noone but you continually seem to.Trash talk is never fine before or after.I expect when all these players are gone from both teams each team will have sent about the same amount of these kids to the nfl .I will agree with the Georgia comment as I feel they are the best team right now in the SEC but got beat on a tiebreaker but everyone had their chances and didnt take advantage.

Here is some info I found interesting.The NFL has 264 SEC players from 12 teams and the B10 has 236 from 11 that is 22 per team and 21.5.Since 1998 head to head SEC 17 B10 16.When SEC was home SEC 4 B10 0.When B10 was home B10 3-SEC 2 .In bowl games B10 13 SEC 11.When B10 was higher ranked they were 6-6 When the SEC was higher ranked B10 was 5-4.Really this is closer than most people think.Good Luck to both teams and fans have a safe trip.

These numbers were from before the bowls so theyve changed alittle but still they are fairly close.Probably closer than most think and people will say they are false.

Unless I'm mistaken, LSU didnt block a fieldgoal all year until they played who??........................ Anyone wanna guess? You got it! The mighty osu from the little ten. The penalties were called correctly, and if that team was so good they would have been smart enough not to make those dumb mistakes. Just think, u yanks that claim people in the south are suppose to be so dumb just got a major butt kickin from a bunch of dumb ole rednecks from the south!!

favre4 Im dang proud of LSU!! Im a BAMA fan thru and thru. I also pull for the SEC regardless. You may be right about LSU not being the best team in the country. Personally I think Georgia is. Now how does it make you feel to know ur mighty osu got beat in the NC game to the 2nd best team in the country??

the big 10 is joke! I live in IL and sometimes root for the Illini and other big 10 teams..... but I get so sick of watching them. I knew we were going to get smoked in our bowl game just as I knew OSU was going to get smoked. OSU fans had better get their boys some cough medicine over there.... two football championships and a basketball championship (that never happened)down the tubes in two years. man can you say "CHOKE" I'm glad football is out of the way so we can start watching basketball full time....

It does not upset me at all that we lost to the 2nd best team in the sec.Remember we were not even picked to be in the top ten so 4th is not bad .No matter who you are 89yds of penaltys is going to cost you.National championships ,osu has 7 mich has 7 minn has 6.????

Alabama has 11. Aint they in the SEC? Maybe OSUs intelligence level needs to be raised if they have already played an entire season and you still have players, including seniors, making dumb mistakes like 15 yard personal foul penalties.
