I know Jeff and Christina and Chelsea appreciate everyone's prayers and good wishes. She's in my prayers as well. I've known Chelsea since she was 7 and have seen her blossom into a fine young lady. I do so hate that this has happened to her.

The Lord does heal and it too is my wish that he will wrap her in His mercy and heal her swiftly.

Christina and Jeff, please give Chelsea my love and prayers, she is one of the sweetest young ladies out there, I know that God will look after her, I know there are going to be rough times in the next couple of weeks but Chelsea will be looked after, and with all of our prayers, from her family and friends she will soon be back with that big smile she always has. Chelsea had a minor injury cleaning surgery yesterday and is going in for another one tomorrow. She is improving but the doctors are waiting for the swelling to go down before they can do the major surgery on the leg. She will have to have steel plates, pins and screws in her lower left leg and ankle. They have removed the tube from her collapsed lung and she is off of the ventilator. She is breathing on her own and her vital signs are good. She is still in a neck brace and has bad bruising on her throat and neck. Her spirits are good and she has been having several visitors. Christina and I want to thank everyone for all the calls and e-mails. They mean alot to all of us. Good friends are precious and we are thankful to have so many. God Bless All, Jeff

Just saw the post about Chelsea & hope she has improved even as I write this. Or hearts & prayers are with you as well as everyone here. She survived & will make it thru this too! She has always been a fighter & a very smart girl. They have very good orthopedics in Lexington & I'm sure her dr's will be with you guys all the way.
