to close or not

Hi ,

just by seeing the names I would say do it if you really want to get a closer look into it before makeing the cross look at the reg. numbers of each dog and that will tell you just who is related. but it looks like you are set up for a line breed with these two dogs wich if you have another female bred by this male you are useing you could keep a pup from that cross and one from this cross breed those two togehter and have the genes you really like these dogs rapped up into one litter. My stud is bred tighter then pups would be out of your two dogs your wanting to bred.

J.R.

You may want to re-read what you posted.

If they have Sh-- Conformation as you stated, then how are winning World Hunts?

You posted "YOU MUST HAVE THE CONFORMATION TO CARRY THE ABILITIES"

By your own admission, dogs with Sh-- Conformation are winning World Hunts.

So I guess that throws out your theory that you must have confirmation to carry the abilities.

What kills me the most, your ragging on World Champion dogs and calling their conformation sh-- , when your breeding crossbreed hounds (Majestics). -- Or the non PC term MUTTS.

Something seems wrong with that picture.

Breed Standards are what makes the Breed, you have to look at the whole picture Ability/Conformation then Marry them together..

I know Looks Don't Tree Coons but with the way the Walkers are going They'l have to change the Breed Standards..

I think a dog that tree real live raccoons is more important than any show dog. Breed standards are important, don't get me wrong, but they are called coondogs!

one of the tuffest females i have ever hunted with was called raisin river kate-- she was long eared, short legged, flat footed, and oh my god what a COOOOOOOOONNNNNNNDDDDDDDOOOGG.........

more breeds have been hurt because show people breeding for looks and confromation and not ability--they are called coondogs, and not showdogs--in the magazines they dont call them treeing walker "show hounds" or american blackn tan "showhounds"---i could care less if they are born with a huge head and a little body, if they tree coon in a "stylish" kinda way or the way that most satisfies me, i guess i'm satisfied

Bozo

I have noticed 1/2 brother-1/2 sister crosses of Bozo in certain dogs pedigrees. From the results, it appears it worked. Good Hunting, Robert
