I WOULD SAY WITH THE LOOKING YOUVE DONE FOR YOUR PUP,AND STILL NOT HAD NO LUCK,AND ALSO NOBODY ELSE SEEN OR SPOTTED HIM ANYWHERE INCLUDING THE DOG SHELTER OR WARDEN THAT SOME WORTHLESS WANNA BE COONHUNTER OR DOG TRADER HAS PICKED HIM UP AND TOOK CLAIM OF HIM ,I HAD THIS HAPPEN TO ME 11 YEARS AGO,AND FOUND OUT 6 YEARS LATER THAT HE HAD BEEN TAKIN AND I HAD MET THE PERSON THAT VERY SAME EVENING THAT TOOK HIM, SEEMED LIKE A NICE FELLOW ,JUST GOES TO SHOW YA CANT TRUST ANYONE,HE MAN WASNT FROM HERE HE WAS JUST UP VISITING A FREIND FOR THE WEEKEND,HE HASNT NEVER BEEN BACK ,AT LEAST THAT I KNOW OF ,I JUST ABOUT FIGURED AFTER A WEEK OF LOOKIN FOR HIM ,AND EVERYONE IN THE AREA KNOWING ME AND MY HOUNDS,I WASNT GOING TO SEE HIM AGAIN,HE JUST PLAIN OUT VANISHED, I WAS ALSO THINKIN MAYBE HE GOT HIT ON THE ROAD AND KNOCKED IN A DITCH WERE I COULDNT FIND HIM,ANY WAY I HOPE YOUR PUP TURNS UP SOMEWHERE AND IS OK,GOODLUCK.

I tell you all after putting one down and losing another one in the same month, it's hard not to quit! If a Blue dog would have won the world this year I would be done, but they did'nt. so I'm gonna keep hunt'n, watch for REDWHTBLU Lite'nin to qualify early! Thanks to all, John.

Driving myself nuts looking thru petfinder.com. I USUALLY avoid looking at blueticks(My Breed...LOL)...
More than anything I am SO happy for the puppy! Yes! Now we expect MANY future pix of him doing his thing in the woods!

i had checked yesterday & he was still gone - i was so sad...
& then this AM my friend told me he had been found!!

I ran over & hugged Adonis & told him the good news LOL

We are both soooo happy for you & the little guy.

John, Chawn, Tiny & Jimbo - Congratulations on a happy ending!

The five weeks Adonis was missing were so long & upsetting.

YAY for JIMBO. Obviously a smart & hardy little guy to survive on his own at such a young age ~ he'll make a coondog for sure

I almost cried reading through this thread, then I got to the post that said he was found! YAY!!!! We had a lab go missing for three months one time before someone called and said they'd seen her. We had put out flyers. When we went out to where she was spotted, we saw her and it took her a couple of minutes to recognize us. Boy were we happy when we took her home! I'm sooo glad you found your little guy!

Oh man, I nearly had heart failure seeing this thread on the first page! Thought Jimbo had gone exploring again!! (Still in quick-to-panic mode with his brother having been lost in Iowa last month)

John has done an awesome job with Jimbo and now we're just waiting for the titles to happen!

Calblu, wish I had my camera last night with Jimbo treed in a barn on top of a loaded hay wagon and was almost face to face with a coon in the rafters, he then treed 2 coons in another barn, and then he took a younger dog thru a holler and treed a single, while my friends world champ went back to the first barn and treed by hisself, it was a good night for the young'ns, will send some pics soon, later, John.
