I'm not a walker man so take it for what its worth. A lot of guys say I like something & lipper crossed. Anybody notice a pattern here? I do not like walkers, but if you stuck a gun to my head and made me it'd be lipper. I've hunted with dogs out of some of the other lines mentioned here and I've shot better.

Coma or Lipper, either one. I didn't start hunting Walkers until I had one gave to me, I've stuck with them ever since. But I have hunted with a few that I wouldn't have at all. But it's probably like that in all breeds, it's whatever does it right consistently. I've hunted B&t's, Redbones and Blueticks too. Good and bad in all breedsBut the Walkers that I have had have been Coma or Lipper blood and have never had any major problems, and they are very, very accurate. Another good coondog I had was a B&T female that wasn't registered and came from some good ole boy in Tennessee, I bred her to a Walker that was a grandson to Pac-man. I've still got a female from that cross, don't have any papers, but she is a coondog.
It's enjoyable passing the time reading everyone's posts.
