bush

i voted for bush, and i also would vote again. the last election was a vote of the lesser of two evils, but i feel 110% that bush in as president is by far a better option that kerry. i think a lot of people who bush bash, and bash those who voted for bush don't stop to think what the other option was, and if you honestly think kerry would have been a better option for home security, you shouldn't be able to vote.

You BET, I would vote for Bush again,

ESPECIALLY if my only other choices were HILLARY or OBAMA.

I consider GW the worst president in 25 years. Run him against any of the the Dem candidates and I'd vote for him again. That is the current state of politics and leadership in this country right now. Sad.

?

I would like to know were the poles come from that say most people don't like Bush I don't see it on this post and most people I know say the same thing "I don't like every thing he dose but he was the best choice and has done the best he can" The News networks bash him because they support the Dems flat out. They push there propeganda and keep pushing it and preaty soon people say it must be true. If you truelly think we should not have gone to war what would you have done in Bush's situation stand there and say I know they just attact us but I don't think they will do it again like old Bill did.

It is the population you are polling...

Most coonhunters are conservative type people. We (typically) own guns, fight agains animal rights nuts, and fall on the republican stance on most issues....therefore there are more conservatives (who typically vote republican) here than in a normal poll sample...

...by the same token if the media conducts a poll on a street in San Fransico or New York City or does a phone poll in some metropolitan area there will probably be more liberals (more likely to vote Democrat) ...

I have a feeling like in most cases to real "truth" is somewhere in the middle.

Yep, thats right. The people that visit this board are a MINORITY. I've done quite a bit of work for and around people that live in cities and even some from other countries and its a little scary to be sitting down to dinner and hear views on different matters. Very pro gun control and anti hunting.

Someone mentioned a lack of leadership and I'll be the first to admit thats not Bush's strong point. Bush is trying to be Reagan-like, but while Reagan could talk tough and get a superpower to blink, Bush talks tough and has every 3rd world country thumbing their nose at the USA and saying, bring it on. But at least he WILL back it up. There ain't no Towel Head hiding under pile of camel dung, ANYWHERE, that doubts that.

Here's the kind of leadership I think we need at this point in our history. A military man.

Get the cameras out of Iraq, turn him loose and in 2 months the problem will be solved and gas will drop to $1.50 a gal. Just don't ask too many questions on how it was done...

the gw administration has been a failure on many fronts, now this is not to say things would have been better with someone else in office, that is a matter of conjecture and not fact... Iraq had no involvement in 9-11, no weapons of mass destruction, was no insurgency until our invasion, no civil war, osama still at large, afghanistan now world's #1 producer of heroin, it had been eliminated by the Taliban which is on the rise again... immigration is a continuing problem with no leadership or direction from either the white house or congress, still no coherent energy policy only lip service, no health care to meet the needs of the nation, no leadership in education, no change in tax structure-only big handouts to the richest in the nation, social security in the tank, the debt-deficit has grown more under this administration then any time in history, there was a surplus when this adminstration took office... now, you can judge is this a success story???? unfortunately many of the observations made for yrs. by the late molly Ivins about GW have in fact come true, he may just not be up to the task at hand for many reasons, sad thing is that nothing much better on the horizon... the political system is in collapse, the nation has been sold to the highest bidder at the expense of the electorate, makes no difference if demo-gop-just more of the same... until all elections are publically financed the citizenery will continue to be held captive by big vested interest $$$ and elected officals will continue to prostitute themselves for the $$$, sad state of affairs, but a reality, we do need changes, but electing a democrat of Republican will now do it... yet even with all these problems, still far and away the greatest of all nations and best place to be and very fortunate to have the opportunity to live here, course possible even to make this the greatest of all nations even better...

George W. Bush is my president, and support him. We havent been attacked on our own soil since 911. He gave us a tax cut that I spent freely(and so did you liberals). Our economy is surpprising in decent shape considering two of the worst tragedys in this country's history happened under President Bush (911 and Katrina). Most of us still have a decent job today. Terrorist are on the run or in the ground. I think the worst president in history title still belongs to Mr. Carter with Mr. Clinton following in a close second.

bush

as for my self i did not vote for bush the first time and i dam sure did not the second time. there is a time to go to war and a time not to. the iraq war was a time not to. young men dying for george bush because he thought it was the right thing to do. you people that voted for him need to get your life in order. never here him say a thing about the high price of oil because his family and friends are in it. not to mention the poor people that cannot afford their med. food & transportation and just trying to stay alive.

we voted for him, and enlisted to serve in the armed forces under his command as well.
totally out of order is to sit and whine and take for granted what you DO have.

bush

what i have in life is what i make it out to be and what my fore fathers struggled to get me. freedom along with the rest of my family. freedom has nothing to do with irag for us. some people want us to believe so. now the damage is done we got to win i guess it dont matter how many young men die. to try to give freedom to a country that doesent want. GET REAL so you probably think you are. O.YA

I voted for him the first time....

my problem with W comes from 9-11.Sadam had no part part of 9-11.I will agree that he was a puke that needed to be taken out for doing what he did to all those innocent people. However,he had the eyes of the entire world on him at the time W decided that he was more important than Ossama and the most advanced military in the world allowed the person most responsible for 9-11 to ride out of Afghanistan on a donkey surrounded by his men waving WW2 British 308 rifles in the air.I lost all respect for W when we scaled down the fight with Taliban before the piece of chit that was primarily responsible for our disaster in New York.Regardless of whether Clinton had him in his sights or not,W pulled some of the dogs of the Ossama trail.Like I said the Iraqi people did need our help but finish one fight before ya start another.
