I'm looking forward to next week, and seeing, talking with old and new friends from all over, and you know the smack talk will begin once the Master (BS1) walks through the doors with trusty followers from abroad.

just went out and got a new pair of Chest Waders just for this event !!!!!!!!

Chances are I won't be hunting Sam At the hunt. Over the last 2 days he's gotten an infection in his front leg. Just got back from the Vet and he put him on Baytril. I hope the swelling goes down, but it is huge. He had a Half inch scratch on his Elbow (as I call it) And over the last 36 hrs its gotten as big a a raquet ball no B.S. So I just hope to get him healed up and in shape for the Zones. This really sucks!!! Maybe he could hunt next week but I highly doubt it . So all you B&T owners Show Up at this hunt and win one for the Gipper!!!!

But, boy would you take a beating from the Gipper (BS1) himself if you did, and even more if you beat up on them ole Black dogs

I do hope he gets well for the Zones, would like to see manyof our folks from up this way do good no matter what the color, when it comes to the World were all one team then........

Marc Marcure sorry to here that. If I was you i'd take a bucket of warm water put some epsom salt in it and stir it up then soak your dogs foot in it for 15 to 30 min you should see results within 12 to 24hrs. Good luck.

Berger, Thanks for the advice. As fast as this infection has come on I'll try anything. Once again Thank You... Mark, Mark you know there is no way in hell that I'm gonna hunt a blue dog. LOL!!!!!!! If he's not ready to go I probaly will just guide. You are so very true on the World Hunt. I don't care what breed or who as long as it's from our area.They have my full and complete backing. As far as the Gipper goes, well thats the ole boy himself," Sam". I just might have to get ahold of Molitor and break out the Old Old Hammer dog. Or maybe Jeff will have something . I'd feel sorry for anyone that draws out with Old Hammer LOL!!!!!!!! I'll just call Jeff. LOL!!! Let's get it on !!!!!!!!!!

Mr. Marc, I am from texas and have horses. I know this sounds strange but if the epsom salt does not work. You can get what is called nitrofurazone from tractor supply or a feed store and put a 1/4 cup of liquid dmso. mix well. Then put on swollen spot very heavey, then wrap with plastic wrap like what you use for sandwiches. Put a cotten wrap or towel on top of that then wrap with vet wrap or an elastic bandage. What you are doing is making a sweat wrap to get the poison out. I have even used this on a snake bite on a young horse, or an infection from a scrape on my old horse. Change the wrap once an day or if he will leave it on let it sit 2 days before you change it. This will make the poison either die or head up and come out. Hope you will try it. Janelle

nope won't get up there this weekend, last week had the (SPW) epadual shot done in the back of my neck and have had some problems with the spinal cord, whole left side of my body has been going numb and other times super sharp pain, and been going on 2-3 hours of sleep each day, and now they have me on Vicodin so am getting some sleep.

Trying to get half way OK so can help out next week at our event, wish I could go, and for the later part of the month down by Mark's VanDeventer I might try, just have to wait and see.

If you get the chance come on up !!!!!!!!!!!

Now what matters more friendship or color of the hound your hunting?? some bleed blue and some bleed black and so on, but when you don't have a dog to hunt then it will be ok to hunt an off breed hound, even i have been known to hunt an off breed color!! but the problem i am having is i don't have any friends!!!!!!

yeh that Vicodin and Codine make a person go down for the count fast, I wait till I can no longer stand the pain then take it, but since the shot it has worn off some and the super sharp pain is gone.

Mark i'm not feeling so good either after what i just heard!!! I heard that the hunt in hebron is getting thrown out because someone entered some dogs that were not there just to get enough dogs to make 2 places in the nite champion hunt...You got to be kidding me!!!! is this some kind of joke?? or what!! I drew a 4 dog cast and won fair and square!! Any of you guys heard anything!! man if there is any truth to this i am gunna be smoked about this!! just ain't worth the effort anymore!! man if i get this win thrown out that will be the end of the nite hunts for me.

Bj1 that sucks. Billie was the high scoring dog overall in the NtCh was'nt she? If you were the high scorer yours should stay as is and the other dog should have it's taken away. Yet they could go by the draw being different ect... What ever the case might be don't give up. If they do take it away keep plugging away. She has the ability to get it done. Just sucks how someone elses dishonesty can cost an innocent person. Wish you the best. Don't give up!!!!!!

just talked with BS1, will let you know in the morning how it went, but I think we'll see Master BS1 in full color this coming weekend.

Hope Sam is doing OK, was looking forward to possible Big Game special event for this hunt, kinda like the plott folks do !!!!!

Mark, My BIG GAME dog is doing better.(Thank God). Friday was the worst.This morning About 1/2 the swelling was gone in his foreleg. The elbow is still huge, But we'll see what tomorrow brings.Glad to hear Bj1 will be at the hunt. Hope tomorrows festivities go well. You might have to auctioneer. See ya in the morning. Good news for me. The old boy is doing MUCH MUCh better. I might swim him tomorrow or take him out for a dump or two. It's amazing how fast these dogs can heal up. Glad to hear everything is cleared up for Bj1 and Billie. LETS GET READY TO RUMBLE!!!!!!

Sorry to hear that Bj1.Are you planning on coming to our hunt? I hope so. You cannot let this get the best of you. I've been screwed over. All but about to give up and quit. I used the negative as positive energy. Sets the fire in the blood just to prove your dog and yourself. You can't let it get the better of you . You are a better man than that. It just makes no sense that you have to pay for someone else's dishonesty. That is what is the worst of the whole deal. Get her tuned up and come to the hunt.
