Most of these modern, young, country music singers today look and act more like they'd rather shoot up some meth. and go steal a car than go out and coonhunt.

---Now you're talking 'bout some GOOD music (and some coonhunters too)!--

I bet McGraw, Chesney, Urban and that crew don't go near the woods. They might break a nail or something LOL...

Not a big fan of "mainstream" (formerly known as soft rock) country music.

Hank Jr hunted and raised Plotts for a number of years. I believe he had Cascade bred plotts. I believe his days of following hounds ended after his accident in the mountains but I'm sure he still hunts.

country mucic and coon hounds

i work in the film business and just so happens that i worked on that video with blake shelton it was shot here in nashville. they had one bluetick and about 6 blood hounds thay were owed by some tracking team .rescue dogs is what they were. i kept one of the blood hounds from killing its self. it was eating insulation off a old water pipe at the tennesse state prison. but anyway i think those guys are way to busy to be stompin threw the woods at night they probley wish they could but not likely.i worked on the green mile with tom hanks and micheal clark duncan and some of those hounds on there were owed by hunters and the bloodhounds hunted also. but in the movie they were all human scent trackers but any way got to go

I like Hank3's music. He is a rebel just like his lineage. I don't think you'll be hearing many Hank3 songs on the pop country radio stations. Like Hank 3 sings, "Pop Country Really Sucks!"

I sure didn't think he was a coonhunter though. He seems a little too out there for that.

Check out his myspace page or his web site, there is a photo of a young Hank III with his dog. He is getting ready to go out on tour soon and I plan to talk to him about it when he is in town.

I enjoy all the music that he does, Assjack, Down, and Superjoint Ritual and heck, he's Hank the III'rd so how can you not like him.

Heck I am way out there and hunt so I wouldm not go on apperances alone.

This is for all you bluegrass fans, go to youtube.com and type in your favorite bluegrass singers and it will bring up videos with music. This works on all music from old country to 80's to current headbanging. Hope you enjoy...... Gotta watch Ralph Stanley and Patty Loveless sing Pretty Polly, so cool.

Rhett Akins is a coonhunter...... He is also in alot of videos huntin' Deer, Turkey, Bear, Hogs Moose , Elk & ect....... He is about as country as they come...........

Craig Morgan raises Walkers down in Dickson County Tennessee, he bought a local big named dog a few years ago & still hunts... He was on Tennessee's Wildside TV Show last week coon hunting with his dogs.........

Someone said something about Kenny chesney, when he was in High School he was a Bear Hunter with Dogs, but I guess them days are long past, as he ain't much of a good ole Smoky Mountain Boy anymore, hes more of a beach bum from the islands to hear his music..... He said for years he would always tell people he was from East Tennessee, well if you watch one of his new vidoe's anymore, you sure as heck couldn't tell it...... See Ya'll...Biggun
