I believe that all dogs miss sometimes. I also beleive that dogs get more accurate as they get older, just naturally. I believe that if a dog is 2 years old or older and there still blowing the top out of absolutly nothing, they allways will. I had a dog that was around 18 or 20 months old. I whooped him, switched him, scolded him, hunted him with accurate dogs, led him in circles around the tree too. All I got was a sore neck and a sore shoulder, and very very frustrated. I gave the dog away to a buddy of mine that said he could fix him. He couldn't.
After you would switch and whip him, what did he do? Just tree up another slick tree? How long before he would do it again? How long did you try it? Is that the only dog you tried it on? What was he/she out of?
